Horses
All the pictures you see on this page are my braiding designs done by me. I perform braiding on both horses and people. I usually determine cost of the hairstyle based on the number of strands of braids chosen, how many braids there are and the degree of difficulty including (usually based of length of time which does depend on how cooperative a horse is).

A special feature I take pride in in my company is the fact that if there is a style or a braid you don't see in my portfolio and can describe the look you want or provide a picture showing me what it is you want, I will do it to the best of my ability and price it on the spot.

Please understand that the braids and different designs may look different from horse to horse depending on their hair length, thickness and hair color.

This is the Diamond Net Braid. This is a fairly simple braid to do but it can be time consuming. Time to complete: depends on how many rows are created. Price: $2.50/row of bands (this tail cost $15.00)
This is an 3 stranded Dutch braid running along the whole length of the mane. Time to complete of cooperative horse: 10-20 min. Price: $10.00
Here is the Spanish braid. Essentially, it contains 4 strands, however, in my experience it doesn't hold up very well with horses that are constantly raising and lowering their head and up and down (which stretches the braid and can potentially pull it out especially around the withers area). Time to complete the whole length of the mane: 15-25 min. Price: $25.00
This mane was parted in a zigzag pattern and a 3 strand dutch braid was created on both sides of the mane. Time to complete with cooperative horse: 20-35 min. Price: $20.00
To start these braids the mane was parted in half down the crest, then two 4 strand braids were braided in layers. Then, the two braids were bound together in a criss-cross fashion with blue ribbon. This horse is a 10 yr old Percheron mare owned by the New Riders of the Golden Age. Time to complete: 35-40 min. Price: $55.00
This is a running chain braid (contains four strands) along the crest of the mane. Time to complete: 15-20 min. Price: $25.00
This Percheron has three 4 stranded running braids in his mane. Time to complete on cooperative horse: 20 min. Price: $25.00
This is a running 4 strand braid on the mane of a Percheron (running the whole length of the mane). Time to complete of cooperative horse: 10-20 min. Price: $25.00
Top: 4 Stranded Braids Middle: 2 Dutch Braids Bottom: 4 Stranded Braids This picture illustrates how the same braids (top and bottom) can look a little different depending on how thick the hair is and it's texture.
Here is two 5 strand braids. It also accents their tails so well and it looks very beautiful. Time to complete: 30-40 min. Price: $35.00
This is my favorite braid to do on horses' tails- the 5 strand braid! Time to complete with a brushed out tail: 10-15 min. Price: $35.00
