How to Measure yourself for your Custom Necklace

Please keep in mind the length of the necklace will greatly be determined by the length of the hair you send me. I usually have to trim off 2-4 inches of damaged hair from the bottom, then braiding the hair shortens the length even further sometimes up to several centimeters depending on the type of braid. There is no way for me to stretch the hair to make it longer.
If you have different lengths of necklaces already, the easiest method to determine the size of necklace you wish to have is measuring the length of a necklace you already have and like the length of. Otherwise, take a long piece of yarn or string. If front of a mirror wrap the yarn around your neck and find a length you like the look and feel of. Then mark the length with your fingers and measure it against a tape measure. Record this length in inches or centimeters on the Horse Hair Necklace Order Form.

Average Size Chart for Women Measurements
Choker - 14 inches (35.5 cm)
Small Necklace -16 inches (40.6 cm)
Medium Necklace- 18 inches (45.7 cm)
Large Necklace - 20 inches (50.8 cm)

Again, it's rare I am able to make necklaces in once piece any longer than 16 inches because most horse hair doesn't grow long enough. Necklaces can be lengthened in the back with an extender chain OR I braid 2 separate braids and join the in the middle by gluing each end into a bead.
