Stained Glass
Thank you for your interest in purchasing one of my stained glass pieces. I currently do not have any stained glass panels for sale (out of stock) but you can still let me know what you're interested in purchasing and I will make it as soon as I can.
I also make custom stained glass panels. Please send me a if you wish to have a customized panel or creation
I use both 60/40 solder (60% tin/40%lead) and lead free solder.
If you have health concerns about the solder that contains lead then the lead free solder is a great option.
Lead free solder is more expensive than the 60/40 solder which will increase the overall price of the piece.
For the larger pieces that need a boarder, I use zinc came to solder around the border.

SOLD $578 This is a stained glass panel of a Norwegian Fjord. I soldered 25 gauge wire into the forelock to give it detail. As you can see, compared to how the glass looks in light, the glass looks different at night.
This was the glass before is was foiled and soldered together.

Father Celtic Knot

$330.00 to create a stained glass panel like this one. I made this for my dad for Father's Day. This Celtic knot represents "father." I left the negative spaces of the knot open instead of filling it in with clear glass. To make the center cross shape pop, I twisted wire together and soldered it around the inner most border where the cross is. Then, I used copper patina to make the solder around the rest of the piece have a copper tone.

$630.00 to create a panel like this one. This is a stained glass panel I made for my sister when she graduated from Physical Therapy school. It's made of 97 pieces of glass. The solder is 60/40. It you look closely, you can see I put beads of solder around the inner boarder for some added texture. The boarder is zinc came.

If you look closely at the solder you can see that it looks rough and texturized- that was done purposefully using a technique with the soldering iron to give the appearance of spines sticking out from the cactus.
